HEINZMANN Australia leading the way in power generation controls with the Si-TEC range of generator and system controllers.

Si-TEC (Smart Integrated Turbine & Engine Control) remains the world’s only digital governor fully integrated with an automatic synchroniser and kWatt/kVAr generator control, initially released 1991. With over 4000 systems in operation globally, the Si-TEC Xtend control provides further enhancement of this already successful product. The Si-TEC range of integrated digital governing controls is internationally recognised as providing the highest level of governing and generator control, and power systems control.

 

The Si-TEC BDG and Si-TEC Xtend ADG are steam turbine controls, specifically designed for mechanical drive applications (i.e. pumps, fans, shredders, mills, etc.). These controllers offer optimum steam turbine performance during transient and steady state conditions, utilizing their wide range of control speed PID’s.  

The Si-TEC BDG (Basic Digital Governor) design is based on the very successful Si-TEC Xtend ADG steam turbine controller. The compact design, user friendly interface, onboard data logging and wide range of PIDs makes the BDG a standard choice for steam turbine control solutions.

A standard system may comprise 24 units and split into 4 groups of generators catering for split bus/feeder system. Each group having the capability of operating as isolated isochronous or utility grid paralleled systems. Re-synchronising of split bus/feeders and soft load transfer can be conducted using the Si-TEC GSM master module(s). Systems may be expanded to over 500 modules and 80 groups. The Si-TEC Xtend CGC controllers are available with a variety of fuelling actuator outputs.
