Rotary Actuators with Gears

The HEINZMANN range of StG all-electric rotary actuators with internal gearing is based on precise and very quick responding DC disc motor, which has been integrated with pinion and sector gear to interface with the actuator output terminal shaft. These actuators also provide instantaneous and contact-free position feedback continuously.

This range of StG actuators provide a nominal torque of 4 Nm to 180 Nm and a control angle of 36°, 42°or 90°. They are used in a wide range of steam turbine applications, as well as medium and large reciprocating (diesel & gas) engine applications. The actuators can be combined with the Heinzmann Si-TEC range of digital governors (e.g. CGC, ADG, BDG, etc.) as well as other ranges of Heinzmann governors.

HA14M

HA22M

HA14E

HA22E

Hydraulic Amplifiers

The HA series Hydraulic Amplifiers from HEINZMANN Australia provide the force to operate heavy control valves of steam turbines or fuel control linkages of large reciprocating engines. This may be done via a mechanical input (i.e. HEINZMANN all electric actuator) or via a 0 – 200 mA input signal to the built in internal actuator. Our amplifiers are characterised by minimal overshoot, iron casing cast and billet power piston & output shaft. The output shaft supports bush (oil fed). Anti-wear coating is designed for longer service life.

HEINZMANN Australia offers a cost effective direct “bolt-on” replacement for Woodward 5¼” and 7¼” hydraulic amplifiers.

HPC I-H Converter

Hydraulic Pressure Converter HPC

The HPC (Hydraulic Pressure Converter) is an electrohydraulic pressure-regulating control valve designed for use in positioning single-acting steam turbine valve servos. The HPC has been specially designed with extra attention to accuracy, response, resolution and is ideal for both inlet. “Proportional” current (4 ... 20 mA) to hydraulic pressure converter (e.g. 100 ... 500 kPa) for turbine applications that require precise hydraulic pressure control for servo valve positioning. Applications are steam turbine generators like back pressure turbines and condensing turbines. The reliable robust design of the HPC with its IP66 corrosion-resistant housing, super strong rotary actuator driving our linear pilot valve makes it ideal for the most challenging of applications where dirty or contaminated oil may be present.

  • Precise hydraulic pressure control
  • Reliable robust design
  • Applicable for hazardous location applications
  • Stable and accurate valve/servo control
  • Optimum positioning “linearisation map”
  • Redundant control pressure sensors for superior reliability
  • Adjustable dither function
  • Oil contamination resistant
  • User-friendly PC tune software tool
